Aric Cheng
👋🏼 Greetings! I'm Aric Cheng (程宇清), a Ph.D. candidate in the NASPO Department of Supply Chain Management at W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. I am fortunate to be advised by Avnet Professor Elliot Rabinovich. I earned my Master's degree in Business Analytics from Washington University in 2023 and my Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2021.
I study digital infrastructure in operations — how it is produced, maintained, and consumed, and how its quality shapes operational outcomes. In one stream, I examine how the entry of paid contributors into volunteer-driven mapping platforms reshapes contribution dynamics. In another, I study how underlying map data quality propagates to last-mile delivery performance. My work combines large-scale archival data with quasi-experimental identification strategies.
